About Josh

Hailing from Jacksonville, Illinois, Josh spent his youth crisscrossing the country as a BMX racer. With countless championships under his belt, those early years ignited a fierce drive for excellence that still fuels everything he does today.

After his BMX career, Josh excelled as a multi-sport varsity athlete throughout high school, continuing to channel his competitive drive and love for athletics.

After his athletic career ended, Josh faced a turning point—struggling to maintain his fitness while confronting a family history of obesity. Determined to rebuild his body and confidence, he returned to his passion for athletics and pursued a degree in physical education at Southern Illinois University–Edwardsville.

The result? A complete transformation—and a calling to help others achieve life-changing results of their own.

Fresh out of college and eager to chase their dreams, Josh married McKea, his partner in life and purpose. Together, they dove headfirst into the world of fitness. What began as a passion for teaching naturally evolved into a calling for personal training—helping others transform their bodies, minds, and lives.

Shortly after becoming a personal trainer, Josh realized his clients needed more than workouts—they needed guidance on healthy eating. Motivated by the incredible impact on those he trained, he and McKea took a bold leap of faith, opening a supplement and nutrition store to serve the entire Jacksonville community and help even more people live a healthy life.

Just a year and a half after opening their store, Josh and McKea were ready to dream bigger. They went from a 700-square-foot storefront to owning a 7,000-square-foot historic theater—and spent nine months transforming it themselves. The result? A vibrant recreational space complete with obstacle courses, rock climbing, trampolines, and their supplement and nutrition store—a true testament of vision and hard work.

Outside of their business ventures, Josh and McKea have a long history of coaching junior high and high school athletes, helping players reach their full potential—a passion for mentorship that continues to shape how they inspire and guide others today.
