A Jacksonville, Illinois native, Josh spent many years of his life traveling the country racing BMX. During this time he won countless championships, and his passion for winning was born.

After his BMX career, Josh became a multi-sport varsity athlete throughout his time in high school.

Unfortunately, after his athletic career ended, Josh’s genetic predisposition to obesity began to take hold of his life. At a point of very low self-esteem, Josh began going to the gym to try and get his body under control, but to no avail. Confused and frustrated, he reached back to his passion for athletics and decided to attend Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville for physical education. This gave him the knowledge to not only transform his body, but also the deep desire to help others do the same!

Immediately after college Josh married the woman of his dreams, McKea. Together they immersed themselves in the world of fitness, and Josh’s desire to become a teacher transitioned into a desire for personal training.

Shortly after becoming a personal trainer, Josh saw the desperate need for his clients to understand healthy eating habits. Thus expanding his services from training sessions only to nutrition plans as well. With the massive success clients were having, Josh and McKea decided to take a leap of faith. Rather than work exclusively with clients at one gym, the couple opened a supplement and nutrition store to reach the entire Jacksonville community!

Just a year and a half after opening the store, Josh knew it was time to expand. The couple went from renting a 700-square-foot storefront to owning a 7,000-square-foot historic theater. After 9 months of doing all of the renovations themselves, the Jones’ had a recreational space including obstacle courses, rock climbing, and trampolines, in addition to the supplement and nutrition store!
